It was a very difficult 9 months, anticipation and anxiety for this moment was very high. Mom spent much of this pregnancy with 24hr morning sickness and greatly enhanced environmental allergies, and I spent most of it wondering if I made the right decision to drop my guard and go ahead with this. We weren't really sure how well mom would handle labor as she has or had a very low pain tolerance . We attended several classes together to try and curb her fears and anxieties with education. Although they surely helped, in the end it was her support team that got her through and she did an awesome job!
Jessica I don't know how to thank you enough, you were just incredible and I really appreciate the support you gave us. We couldn't have done it without you! There were times when trying to help her through contractions I almost lost it, I found it more difficult and mentally exhausting than I ever imagined to watch her in so much pain and thanks to you I could walk away for a minute and catch my breath. I will never forget it, and I am so glad you experienced this with us. True friends are hard to find and they stick with you no matter what and that's who you are and what you have done for us. I don't know how to express my gratitude in words other than, Thank You , Thank You, Thank You!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Jennifer (big Sis) we were so happy to have you there and to have you experience this with us. I can't imagine how exciting it was for you, and we needed all the cheer leaders we could get. I hope it was an experience you will never forget and that it will help to fulfill your life.
Finally, to my wife:
Wow What a Journey, You did such an awesome job I am so proud of you!! You far exceeded my expectations and what a great little guy we got. Now a new adventure begins, one which we will tackle together like we always do. With each others support and with such great family and true friends it should be an adventure worth taking. We've tackled so much together and somehow always manage to come out on top.
